I asked Ann if she supplied all her products on a online service, well this was an untruth for a start. She did not confirm my order to begin with and had to be prompted to send it. First delivery was incomplete, defrosted, damaged and only fit for the bin. I had to prompt her again to fulfill the order, twice. The second delivery was unfrozen, late, and in no fit state for consumption. The order is still incomplete. These pies should not be sent in a unfrozen state so as the gravy spills from damaged goods. They were packaged with insufficient frozen ice block strips and placed in a box with no packaging to prevent them moving in the carton.I would advise anybody not to use this service online. It is very amateurish.
Certainly the best steak pies ever!! Anytime I was in Scotland, going to hers to get some steak pies to bring back home was an absolute must. Ive just discovered that she now has a proper online shop and will certainly recommend to everybody !!

Having just polished off one of Ann Davidson's absolutely fantastic Christmas Hampers,I think we can safely say that this was,without a shadow of a doubt,THE best Xmas dinner of all time. Everything contained in the hamper was incredibly high quality,very obviously hand made and prepared,and absolutely DELICIOUS! You know sometimes when you're eating something,and you think to yourself "If I could only eat ONE thing again for the rest of my life...." well,look no further. The care,taste and quality of every single thing was absolutely outstanding. Living outside the delivery area,we'd only had the opportunity to try Ann's products once before,a selection of pies etc we bought at a stall at Blairgowrie Highland Games. They were fantastic,and our Xmas hamper was just as tasty. VERY highly recommended,a tremendous butcher.
